The Norfolk Virginian Pilot September 21, 1943
Mrs. Corrine Davis Lilliston, 56, widow of Capt. James T. Lilliston, died at a 
local hospital yesterday morning at 3:15 o'clock, after a long illness.  She 
was the daughter of the late James T. and Mrs. Sallie Marion Davis, and was a 
lifelong resident of Norfolk.
Surviving her are three sisters, Mrs. Lillian Davis Bruff, Mrs. Pearl Davis 
Traywick, and Mrs. Sallie Davis Perry; three brothers, James Clarence Davis, 
Arthur V. Davis, and Willard A. Davis, all of Norfolk; and a number of nieces 
and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted in the funeral chapel of James V. Derry, 
1920 Colley avenue, tomorrow morning at 11 o'clock.  The Rev. H.L. Hastings, 
pastor of the McKendree Methodist Church, will officiate.  Interment will be in 
Elmwood Cemetery.
