The Norfolk Virginian Pilot August 19, 1943


Miss Anna Elizabeth Ware Lindsay, daughter of the late Edward B. and Beatrice 
Thomas Lindsay, died at the residence, 230 West Twentieth Street, yesterday 
morning after a short illness. She is survived by two sisters, Miss Lucretia S. 
Lindsay and Miss Edna B. Lindsay, and two nieces, Mrs. Joseph N. Wilson and 
Miss Pearl V. Blankenship, all of Norfolk. Miss Lindsay was a member of the 
Ghent Methodist Church and the YWCA and was in the employ of the Southgate 
Beverage Brokerage Company.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home tomorrow 
afternoon at 4 o’clock. Burial will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery.
