Mrs. Alice Lindsay died January 22 at the home of her daughter, 734 Alleghany 
street, after a long illness. Funeral services were held January 26 at the Church 
of God in Christ of Liberty street with Elder Robert Hardy in charge. During the 
services solos were rendedered by Madams Ruth Walston, Julia Boyd, and M. Gibbs.

Mrs. Lindsay is survived by one sister, one brother, two daughters, 18 
grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren. Burial 
was in Mt. Olive Cemetery with Wheeler Funeral Home in charge.
