Norfolk Virginian Pilot Tuesday May 22, 1951
Edmund Tunstall Lindsey, 85, who formerly resided at 1346 Chesapeake Avenue, 
South Norfolk, died yesterday morning at the Elks National Home in Bedford 
after a month's illness.
The son of Col. E.C. and Mary E. Owens Lindsey, he was a native of Norfolk 
and a member of the Elks Club.
He is survived by five nephews, E.M. Tilley, of Richmond; R.M. Marshall and 
B.D. Marshall, of Norfolk, and D.W. Lindsey, Jr. and John D. Lindsey, of 
South Norfolk.
The body was forwarded to the Sykes Funeral Home, Berkley.  Funeral services 
will be conducted at the grave in Magnolia Cemetery tomorrow at 3:30 p.m.

Edmund T. Lindsey - Funeral services for Mr. Lindsey, of 1346 Chesapeake 
Avenue, South Norfolk, who died Monday at the Elks National Home in Bedford, 
will be conducted today at 3:30 p.m. at the grave in Magnolia Cemetery.  
Besides five nephews previously listed, Mr. Lindsey is survived by two other 
nephews, Coke M. Tilley of Orange, Tex. and E.L. Silvester, of Carlstadt, 
N.J.

Edmund Tunstall Lindsey  - Funeral services for Mr. Lindsey, who died 
Monday, were conducted yesterday at 3:30 p.m. at the grave in Magnolia 
Cemetery by the Rev. M.F. Draper, pastor of Chesapeake Avenue Methodist 
Church.  Pallbearers were E.M. Tilley, R.M. Marshall, B.D. Marshall, D.W. 
Lindsey, Jr., Sidney Kelsey and Walter Walsh.
