The Virginian Pilot Sunday May 25, 1969
Mrs. Blanche Norton Lindsey, formerly of 1136 Rodgers St., South Norfolk, 
the widow of William C. Lindsey and a daughter of Joseph H. and Mrs. Mary 
Boothe Norton, died in a Petersburg hospital Friday.
A native of Bradford, Pa., she lived in South Norfolk 69 years.
She was a member of Chesapeake Avenue United Methodist Church.
Surviving are a son, Raymond C. Lindsey of Norfolk; a sister, Mrs. Florence 
Kratzig of Norfolk; and three grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held in Magnolia Cemetery, Berkley, Tuesday at 11 
a.m. by the Rev. Robert H. Eason. The body will be taken from Derry-Twiford 
Funeral Home to the cemetery.
