LINDSEY, wife of the late Col. R.C. Lindsey, in the 64th year of her age. ********************************************************************** The funeral services of the late Mrs. Mary Lindsey were conducted yesterday afternoon from Chestnut Street M.E. Church. The church was filled to overflowing with the large number of relatives and friends of the family. The floral offerings were numerous and beautiful. The services were conducted by the pastor, Rev. R.M. Chandler, assisted by the Rev. Mr. Slaymaker, of Armstrong Memorial Church and the Rev. Herbert Hope, of Portsmouth. The interment was in Magnolia Cemetery. The following named gentlemen acted as pallbearers: Colonel William Lamb, Judge G.D. Parker, L. Berkley, George W. Jones, Dr. G.N. Halstead, C.S. Rogers, J.D. Gale, G.R. Joughins.
