Norfolk - Funeral services for Daniel Linear of 1015 Hanson avenue, who died May
26 in a local hospital, will be held Sunday at 1:30 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church
with the Rev. William O. Deloatch, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in
Calvary Cemetery, will full military honors. Funeral arrangements are in charge
of Hale Funeral Home.

Mr. Linear, a native of Hertford County, NC, was the son of the late Moses
Linear and Mrs. Sarah Linear and the husband of Mrs. Lenora Linear. He was a
World War 1 veteran.

He was retired from Virginia Electric and Power Company, and was a deacon and
trustee of Mt. Zion Baptist and a member of Excelsior Masonic lodge, National
Ideal Benefit Society and the Baptist Brotherhood of Deacons.
