Linnette, 82, of 2112 Barton St., formerly of Norfolk (706 Berkley Ave.), died Monday night in his home here after a short illness. He was the widower of Mrs. Susie Linnette and was born in Norfolk. He lived in Richmond two years and was a retired shipyard worker and building contractor. He was a member of First Baptist Church, Berkley Avenue, Norfolk. Surviving are three sons, Dr. Harry Linnette of San Diego, Calif., Linwood Linnette and Theophilus Linnette of Norfolk; and three daughters, Mrs. Rozeal L. Diamond and Mrs. Susie McGlone of Richmond and Mrs. Sarah Schmoke of Washington, D.C. The body was sent to Chatman Funeral Home, Norfolk. A funeral service will be held in First Baptist Church, Berkley Avenue, Saturday at 2 p.m., with burial in Calvary Cemetery.
