A native of Southernton, Conn., he had resided in Norfolk for seven months, making his home at 1433 West 48th Street. Besides his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Mrs. L. L. Davidson and Mrs. F. S. Mardis, both of Norfolk; one son, William S. Lippin, of Portsmouth, and two sisters, Mrs. Minnie Penello and Mrs. Mary Pace, both of Norfolk. Funeral services will be conducted at the James V. Derry Funeral Chapel tomorrow at 1 p. m. by the Rev. John J. Bannon. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery. Prior to coming to Norfolk seven months ago, Mr. Lippin had been a barber in Portsmouth for 40 years. Survivors, besides those listed in yesterday’s Virginian-Pilot, include a second son, Francis Bonds Lippin, of Chicago, and six grandchildren.
