Virginian-Pilot  October 6, 1930
Mrs. Mary Lippin, aged 67, widow of Charles Lippin, died at her residence, 225 
Ainsworth street, yesterday morning at 8:20 o’clock. She was a native of Italy, 
but for the past 24 years had been a well-known resident of Norfolk. She is 
survived by two daughters, Mrs. Minnie Penello and Mrs. Mary Pace Hushman; one 
son, John Lippin, and seven grandchildren, all of Norfolk; two sisters, Mrs. A. 
Morrello and Mrs. R. Macrie and one brother, John DeAngelis of New Haven, Conn.
Funeral services will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church tomorrow morning at 
10 o’clock. Interment will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
