The Virginian-Pilot, Thursday, November 2, 1978

NORFOLK - Joseph Litchfield of 200 W. 25th St., the husband of Mrs. Dorothy 
Litchfield and a native of Norfolk, died Monday in a hospital.

He worked for D.G. White & Son Auto Service of Chesapeake.

Other survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Rachel Tillery of Baltimore; a brother, 
Nathaniel Copeland, and a sister, Mrs. Claudie Platt, both of Norfolk; eight 
grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

A funeral will be held Friday at 1:30 p.m. in Metropolitan Funeral Home by 
Speaker Alton Parker. Burial will be in Calvary cemetery. The family will be at 
811 Walker Ave., Berkley.
