Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Wednesday, December 30, 1992 
LaTonya A. ``Tonya'' Lockett of the 1000 block of Norview Ave., died Dec. 27,
1992, in Lake Taylor Hospital.

She was born in Norfolk and was involved in special education.

Survivors include her mother, Nannie B. Lockett of Norfolk; two sisters, Angela
Harris of Virginia Beach and Tammy Shaw of Fort Campbell, Ky.; four brothers,
Otis E. Lockett of Dale City, Va., Larry W. Lockett of Raleigh, N.C., Carl A.
Lockett and Elbert Wade Lockett, both of Norfolk; maternal grandmother, Mrs.
Gertie M. Banks, and paternal grandmother, Mrs. Eldorado Lawrence, both of
Norfolk. She was preceded in death by her father, Otis E. Lockett Jr.

A funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday in Faith Deliverance Christian Center,
Norfolk. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery . Viewing will begin at 4:30 p.m.
today in Carlos A. Howard Funeral Home. The family will meet for the
processional at 12:30 p.m. Thursday at 1053 Norview Ave.
