NORFOLK - Donald Charles Lockyer, 76, passed away Jan. 29, 2005, in a local 
hospital. He was the widower of Rose Lockyer. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of 11 
years.
Donald is survived by three daughters, June Ryan of New York, Sharon Lockyer of 
Norfolk and Maureen Bancroft of Chesapeake; six grandchildren; and one great-
grandchild. He was preceded in death by a son, Michael.
A funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater 
Drive Chapel, with the Rev. Father Brian Rafferty officiating. Burial will be St. 
Mary’s Cemetery on Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. The family will receive friends at the 
funeral home one hour prior to the service.
