OCRACOKE, N.C. - Milford James Loebsack Sr., 68, a retired plumbing and heating 
contractor, died May 25, 1987, in a Hampton hospital.
Mr. Loebsack, a Norfolk native, retired after 50 years. He was a Catholic and a 
World War II Air Force veteran.
Survivors include his wife, Maggie Fentress Loebsack; two daughters, Mitzi L. 
Golding of Mount Airy, N.C., and Dorothy L. Hyatt of Grandy, N.C.; a son, 
Milford J. Loebsack Jr. of Hatteras, N.C.; two brothers, Thomas Loebsack of 
Huntsville, Ala., and Lemond Loebsack of Indiana; and four grandchildren.
The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Twiford’s Ghent Chapel, 
Norfolk, by the Rev. Donald J. Cavey. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, 
Norfolk. The family will be at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. today and at 
3212 Sherry Court, Virginia Beach.
