Zion Church of God Holiness. She died Nov. 5 in Richmond as the result of an auto accident the previous day. She was buried in Calvary Cemetery under direction of Graves Funeral Home. Mrs. Lofton is survived by her mother, Mrs. Cordelia Epperson; her husband, Julius Lofton of Philadelphia; a daughter, Mrs. Pearl Beale of Philadelphia; six sons, James, Junius, Edward, William and Otis Lofton of Philadelphia and Joseph Lofton of Washington; three sisters, Mrs. Mattie Foster of South Norfolk, Mrs. Mamie Word and Mrs. Esther Mitchell of Norfolk; and three brothers, J. Lloyd, G. Olive, and Lee A. Epperson of Norfolk.
