Norfolk Journal and Guide, May 14,1960
Vernon Logan, 45, of 1424 Church street, died May 4 at a local hospital. A 
native of Norfolk, he is survived by his mother, Mrs. Sarah Logan, and a 
brother, John Logan, both of Norfolk.

A funeral service was conducted May 8 at Citizens Funeral chapel by the Rev. 
J. A. Askew. Citizens Funeral Home handled funeral arrangements.

(per death certificate, burial in Calvary Cemetery)
