NORFOLK - Jasper Longshore of 620 Reservoir Ave. died Monday in a hospital.

A native of Newberry, S.C., he was a son of Jessie and Mrs. Metter Longshore and 
the husband of Mrs. Tenia Longshore.

He was a 20-year employe of Birsch Construction Co.

Besides his wife, he is survived by three sons, William H. Smith, Jasper J. 
Longshore, and Robert B. Longshore, and two daughters, Tenia Longshore and 
Katherine Longshore, all of Norfolk; five brothers, Willie Longshore and Jest 
Longshore of Newberry, Fred Longshore and Jack Longshore of Greenville, S.C., 
and Aby Longshore of Silverstreet, S.C.; three sisters, Mrs. Dolly Simmons of 
Detroit, and Mrs. Cristine L. Sondley and Miss Annie Longshore of Norfolk; and 
two grandchildren.

A funeral service will be Saturday at 3 p.m. in St. Mary Holiness Church by 
Bishop Mary Johnson. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Hale Funeral Home has 
charge.
