NORFOLK - Jasper Longshore Jr., 49, of the 800 block of Marshall Ave., died 
April 29, 2003 at Norfolk General. Born in Norfolk, he was employed by Norfolk 
State University for 28 years as a custodian. He was the son of Tennie S. 
Longshore and the late Jasper Longshore Sr. 

In addition to his mother, Mr. Longshore is survived by two sisters, Tenia Dixon 
and Katherine Nowell and husband Richard of Norfolk; and a brother, Robert B. 
Longshore and wife Sherry of Norfolk. He was predeceased by a brother, William 
H. Smith. 

A funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Smyrna Church of Christ Holy 
Disciples, Olney Road and Marshall Ave., by Elder Randy Brown with burial in 
Calvary Cemetery . Hale Funeral Home is in charge.
