He was a native of Italy, but had lived in this section for the last 50 years, having engaged in the fruit business in this city and Norfolk. He operated in the Norfolk City Market for 35 years. He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Josephine Annarino, of Norfolk, and Miss Mary Lopinto, of Portsmouth; four sons, Michael Lopinto, of Norfolk, and Anthony, Thomas and Frank Lopinto of Portsmouth; two brothers, Samuel Lopinto, of Pittsburgh, and Frank Lopinto, of San Francisco. Mr. Lopinto held membership in St. Paul’s Catholic Church. Funeral service will be conducted at 10 o’clock Monday morning at St. Paul’s Church with Requiem High Mass. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Norfolk.
