Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - July 16, 1992

John Henry Lotter, 64, of the 9000 block of Chesapeake Blvd., a retired 
paving contractor, died July 14, 1992, in his home.
Mr. Lotter was born in Mineola, N.Y., and was a volunteer fireman in New 
York. He was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church.
Survivors include his wife, Shirley Ann Lotter; two daughters, Amelia Flotz 
of Ocala, Fla., and Sandy Ostrander of Long Beach, N.Y.; a son, John C. 
Lotter of Hollywood, Fla.; a stepson, Stephen Higgins of Morristown, N.J.; a 
sister, Adelaide Demarco and three brothers, Freddie Lotter, Francis Lotter 
and Casper Lotter, all of New York; and four grandchildren.
The graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday in Magnolia 
Cemetery by the Rev. Lou Ruoff. Friends may join the family from 7 to 9 p.m. 
today in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel.
Memorial donations may be made to the Norfolk Fire Department.
