NORFOLK - Nicanor J. Lotuaco Jr., 70, of the 2400 block of Everglades Road, passed 
away April 28, 2003 in Gainesville, Fla.

A native of Gapan City, Philippines, Mr. Lotuaco was the founder and President of 
Crown & Bridge Dental Lab Inc. He was a member of St. Pius X Catholic Church and a 
U.S. Naval veteran of the Korean War.

He is survived by his wife, Remedios D. Lotuaco; his son, Nick Lotuaco III and 
wife, Joanne, of Virginia Beach; his four daughters, Jessica Gilden and husband, 
Peter, Anna Maria Hummerstone and husband, James, all of Fairfield, Conn., 
Remedios Marie "Medy" Alexander and husband, Michael, of Virginia Beach and 
Cynthia Kim and husband, David, of Greenwich, Conn.; his 14 grandchildren, Sydney 
and Nick IV Lotuaco, Gabby Gilden, Margeaux, Cammy, Ryan and Eliza Hummerstone, 
Madison, Mitchell and Mason Alexander, Whit, Seth, Molly and Elyse Kim; and his 
sister, Edna DeGuzman and husband, Manny, of Hamilton, N.J.

The family will receive friends at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Bayside Chapel, 
today from 4 to 6 p.m. with a wake to be held at 6 p.m. A Mass of Christian burial 
will be conducted Monday at 11 a.m. in St. Pius X Catholic Church with Father Romy 
Jazmin officiating. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery. A reception will be 
held at the Philippine Cultural Center on Baxter Road following the burial 
service. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Pius X Catholic 
Church.
