Virginian Pilot and The Norfolk Landmark June 9, 1929
Miss Victoria James Lovett, aged 76 years, daughter of the late George McIntosh 
and Elizabeth Cornick Lovett, died at 7:50 o'clock yesterday morning at the Mary 
F. Ballentine Home.  She was a native and lifelong resident of Norfolk and was a 
member of Park Avenue Presbyterian Church.  Surviving her are one sister, Mrs. 
Susan W. Woodhouse; one niece, Miss Kate P. Woodhouse, both of Norfolk and two 
nephews, of Baltimore, Md. Funeral services will be held at the Mary F. Ballentine 
Home tomorrow afternoon at 4 o'clock, Rev. J.L. MacMillan, D.D., pastor of First 
Presbyterian Church, officiating.  Interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
