Norfolk - Mrs. Daisy Carter Lovette,71, of 984 Albert Ave., died Wednesday at
10:10 a.m. at her residence after a long illness.

She was the daughter of Frank and Mrs. Missouri Carter, and wife of the late
James Edward Lovette. She was a native of Norfolk.

She was a member of the Daughters of Norfolk, and of St. John A.M.E. Church for
more than 50 years.

Surviving is a daughter, Mrs. Earlene Lovette Little of Norfolk.

Funeral services will be conducted at the St. John A.M.E. Church Sunday at 1
p.m. by the Rev. John R. Johnson, pastor. Burial will be in the family plot at
Calvary Cemetery, with the Riddick Funeral Service in charge.
