The Virginian Pilot Saturday July 26, 1969
CHESAPEAKE - Curtis Leon Lowrimore, 77, of 2810 Eustis Ave. died Thursday in 
a hospital.
A native of Charleston, S.C., he was a son of Thomas and Mrs. Adelia 
Lowrimore and the husband of Mrs. Mabel Marie Lowrimore.
He was a veteran of World War I and a retired New York subway motorman.
Besides his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Myrtle Bartolino of 
Arlington and Mrs. Victor Walczak of New Jersey; and three sons, Curtis L. 
Lowrimore Jr. and Richard Lowrimore of Chesapeake and Ray Lowrimore of 
Virginian Beach.
A funeral service will be held today at 3 p.m. in Francis A. Gay Funeral 
Home by the Rev. Boyd W. Bryant.  Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery.
