The Courier-Journal Louisville, Ky March 2, 1935

William B. Lucas, 69 years old, former president of the Knadler & Lucas Co., and 
a native of Louisville, died at noon Friday at his residence in Norfolk, Va. Mr. 
Lucas had lived in Norfolk sixteen years and was formerly with the United States 
Shipping Board. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Annie Wiemer Lucas, two 
sisters, Mrs. August Ropke and Mrs. Mary Herget. Funeral services will be held 
at 10 o'clock Monday in Norfolk. Burial will be in Norfolk.

LUCAS, WILLIAM B. – At the residence, No. 332 Fairfax avenue, Friday, March 1, 
1935, at 12:30 o'clock p.m. WILLIAM B., husband of Annie Weimer Lucas, and son 
of the late John and Elnora Taven Lucas, in the 70th year of his age.
Remains will be taken from H. D. Oliver’s Funeral Apartments, Nos. 610-612 East 
Freemason Street, to Sacred Heart Catholic Church for services MONDAY MORNING at 
10 o’clock. Friends of the  family are invited to attend. Interment, St. Mary’s 
Cemetery.
