Jack Luck, 23, a son of Mrs. Mary McKonn Luck Foster, died after a sudden illness at a Norfolk hospital yesterday morning at 1:30 o'clock. Mr. Luck was a lifelong resident of Norfolk and was a veteran of World War II, having served in the United States Naval Reserves. He was a member of the Wesleymen of Epworth Methodist Church. Surviving, besides his mother, are a sister, Miss Audrus Palmer; three brothers, Lionel C., Archie C., and Montague Luck; five half-sisters, Mrs. Mildred Welch, Miss Marian Foster, Miss Roselyn Foster, Miss Joanne Foster and Miss June Foster, all of Norfolk; his maternal grandmother, Mrs. Laura McConn, and an aunt, Mrs. W.J. Beasley, also of Norfolk. The body was taken to the James V. Derry Funeral Chapel where funeral services will be conducted Sunday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock. The Rev. Thomas F. Carroll, D.D., pastor of Epworth Methodist Church, will officiate. Interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
