Ludlow, whose death was announced in yesterday’s issue, took place, as announced, at 5 o’clock in the afternoon from the residence, No. 48 Dunmore Street, and was very largely attended by friends and acquaintances. The services were conducted by Rev. A.S. Lloyd, rector of St. Luke’s P.E. Church, assisted by Rev. B.D. Tucker, of St. Paul’s. The interment took place in Cedar Grove Cemetery, the following gentlemen being pall-bearers: Major R.C. Taylor, Major Charles Pickett, Captain Washington Taylor, Captain C.F.M. Spottswood, Messrs. George McBlair, M.T. Cooke, B.F. Tebault and George W. Wilson ************************** Landmark August 12 1890 Mrs. Maria M. Ludlow, wife of Captain John R. Ludlow, and a most estimable lady, died Sunday afternoon after a lingering illness, aged sixty-four years. The funeral took place at 5 o’clock yesterday afternoon from the residence, No. 42 Dunmore Street and was largely attended by relatives and friends of the deceased. The services were conducted by Rev. A.S. Lloyd, rector of St. Luke’s P.E. Church, assisted by Rev. Beverly D. Tucker, of Old St. Paul’s. At their conclusion the remains, encased in a handsome black cloth casket, were borne to Cedar grove Cemetery and interred. The following were the pall-bearers: Messrs: R.C. Taylor, George McBlair, Charles Pickett, Wasington Taylor, B.F. Tebault, M.T. Cooke, F.M. Spotswood and George W.
