He was a son of Mrs. Berdie T. Luke and the late Leroy Edward Luke. He was a member of First Lutheran Church, Norfolk, and served for 11 years as superintendent of its church school. He was a member of the church council and had served in other capacities at the church. He was a member of the Woodmen of the World. He made his home at 811 Jasmine Ave. In addition to his wife, Mrs. Mildred Graham Luke, and his mother, he is survived by one sister, Mrs. Eva Luke Meakin and a brother, Clarence E. Luke, both of Norfolk. The body will be taken from Ewell & Williamson Funeral Home to First Lutheran Church for a funeral service Friday at noon by the Rev. L.W. Strickler, pastor. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
