Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Tuesday, September 29, 1998 
Pearl R. Lundy, 80, of the 100 block of Suburban Parkway, died Sept. 24, 1998,
in her home. Born Aug. 12, 1918, in Sussex County, Va., she lived most of her
life in Norfolk.

A retired domestic worker, Ms. Lundy was a lifelong member of Queen Street
Baptist Church, where she served in the Senior Choir and was a member of the
Rose of Sharon Club and The Ida Ewell Missionary.

Survivors include her church family.

A funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Queen Street Baptist Church by
Pastor Peter Wherry. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery . Donations may be made
to the Benevolent Fund of Queen Street Baptist Church. Hale Funeral Home is in
charge.
