The Virginian Pilot Thursday March 13, 1958
Mrs. Louise Titmus Luton, 74, widow of James H. Luton, died at a Norfolk 
hospital Wednesday at 10 a.m.  She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Purney L. 
Saunders, a son, Fergus R. Luton, and a grandson, Elton L. Saunders, all of 
Norfolk, seven step grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Luton was a lifelong resident of Norfolk, residing at 118 E. 17th St.  
Until her retirement in 1945, she was in the employ of the W.T. Grant Co. for 
17 years.
The body will be taken from the Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home to Christ and St. 
Luke's Episcopal Church, of which she was a member, for funeral services Friday 
at 2 p.m.  Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.  The family will be at 2901 
Bapaume Ave.
