Lynch, 86, Confederate Veteran, who was wounded and taken prisoner at the Battle of Seven Pines, died early today at the home of his daughter, Mrs. G.C. Speight, 744 Graydon Park. The son of the late John and Elizabeth Nosay Lynch, he was born at Wallaceton, Norfolk County. During the War Between the States, he was a member of Company F, 41st Virginia Infantry, enlisting in that command on March 11, 1862, three months before the battle in which he was severely wounded. As a union prisoner, he was taken to Fort Delaware, then later exchanged and sent to Richmond, where he was discharged from service on account of physical incapacity. Mr. Lynch is survived by two daughters, Mrs. G.C. Speight, of Norfolk and Mrs. W.A. Johnson, of Indian River Park; two sisters, Miss Julie Lynch, of Indian River Park and Mrs. W.T. Pell, of Elizabeth City, N.C. A member of Pickett-Buchanan Camp, U.C.V., funeral services for the Confederate veteran will take place at 4 o'clock tomorrow afternoon with burial at Magnolia Cemetery, Berkley. **************** LYNCH - At the residence of his daughter, Mrs. G.C. Speight, 744 Graydon Park, Tuesday morning, May 25, 1926, at 3:50 o'clock, ONESIMUS M. LYNCH, son of the late John and Mrs. Elizabeth Nosay Lynch, aged 86 years. The body was taken to the funeral home of J.R. Williams, 13 Chesapeake Avenue, South Norfolk, where funeral services will be conducted WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON, May 26, 1926, at 4 o'clock. Burial in Magnolia. Friends are invited.
