Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Thursday, January 17, 1991 
Burnice Lynch Sr., 75, of the 2400 block of Hale St., a retired laborer, died
Jan. 12, 1991, in a hospital.

Mr. Lynch, a native of North Carolina, had retired from the City of Norfolk. He
was a member of Way of the Cross Church of God in Christ.

Survivors include his wife, Thelma Lynch; five daughters, Ruth Gordon, Vera
Flowers, both of Norfolk, Rosa Harrell of Cleveland, Arbell White of Richmond
and Brenda Dudley of Oakland, Calif; seven sons, Milton Lynch, James Lynch, both
of Connecticut, Russell Lynch, Burnice Lynch Jr., both of Norfolk, Jerome N.
Lynch of Oakland, Jerry Lynch of Westminster, Calif., and Larry Lynch of
Germany; four sisters, Rosanna Stancil, Lenora Brown, both of Robersonville,
N.C., Ella Mae Dixon of Scotland Neck, N.C., and Ruby L. Lee of Philadelphia;
three brothers, Theron Lynch of Portsmouth, Levy J. Lynch of Oak City, N.C., and
Arlander Lynch of New Brunswick, N.J.; 58 grandchildren; and 32
great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Saturday in Way of the Cross Church by Elder Lewis
Hines. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery . Friends may join the family from
6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Friday in Twilight Funeral Home.
