Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Sunday, March 1, 1998 
Carolyn Lynn, of the 2500 block of King Court, died Feb. 24, 1998, in a local
hospital.

Born in Norfolk, she retired in 1996 as a cook with Doumars after 14 years of
service. She was a member of St. Andrews COGIC.

Survivors include her husband, Ulysess Lynn Sr.; four daughters, Michele Lynn,
Judith Lynn, Christine Lynn, all of Chesapeake, Lisa Lynn of Norfolk; two sons,
Ulysses Lynn and Paul A. Lynn of Norfolk; seven sisters, Margaret Wilson of
Baltimore, Md., Benita Lynn of Newport News, Eleanor Cherry of Trenton, N.J.,
Roberta Cherry of Norfolk, Arlene Neal of Chesapeake, Betty Jenkins of
Portsmouth; two brothers, Paul Jones of Norfolk, Allen Jones of Willingboro,
N.J.; 12 grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

A funeral will be conducted at noon Tuesday in St. Andrews COGIC by the Rev.
Lauretta Jones. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery . Viewing will begin at 3:30
p.m. Monday. The family will assemble at 11 a.m. at the residence. The body will
be taken to the church at 10 a.m. Monday. Carlos A. Howard Funeral Home, Norfolk
Chapel, is handling arrangements.
