The Norfolk Virginian Pilot February 12, 1947


Mrs. Susan Ferebee Lyon, 69, widow of Henry Wise Lyon, died at a local hospital 
yesterday at 6:30 a.m.
She is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Daisy F. Lawrence, of Norfolk, and Mrs. 
H.C. Willis, of Chicago, and two nieces, Mrs. Robert Blanchard, of Chicago, and 
J.A. Chapman, of Parksley.
She was a native of Camden County, North Carolina, and had been a resident of 
Norfolk 40 years.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home tomorrow 
at 2 p.m. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
