Mr. Lyons was a native of Knoxville, Tenn., and a well-known resident of Norfolk for the past 42 years. He was a member of the Journeymen’s Tailor’s Union, and the Fraternal Order of Eagles. He resided at 116 West Sixteenth street. Besides his wife, he is survived by one brother, P. H. Lyons, of Jacksonville, Ill.; four nieces, Misses Margaret and Helen Lyons, of Jacksonville, Ill.; Mrs. C. J. McCarthey, of Springfield, Ill.; and Miss Nellie Boothe, of Knoxville; and two nephews, Frank and Edward Lyons, of Jacksonville, Ill. Funeral arrangements will be announced later. Michael Joseph Lyons - Remains of Mr. Lyons, whose death occurred Sunday night at a local hospital, will be taken from the residence, 118 West Sixteenth street, to Sacred Heart Catholic Church, for funeral services this morning at 10 o’clock. Interment will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
