Norfolk - Mrs. Izora F. Maben of 872 Avenue C died in her home after a short
illness.

A native of Norfolk, she was the widow of Charles Maben and a daughter of the
late Izaac and Mrs. Mildred Freeman.

She was a member of First Baptist Church, Bute Street.

Surviving are three nieces, Mrs. Ellen Green of New York, Mrs. Elnora Allmond of
Suffolk, and Mrs. Eloise F. Brown of Portsmouth and a nephew, Herman Freeman of
Seattle WA.

A funeral service was held in First Baptist Church, Bute Street, by the Rev. E.
Paul Simms. Burial was in the family plot in Calvary Cemetery with Hale Funeral
Home in charge.
