NORFOLK - Mrs. Nellie Coleman Mabie, 79, died at 9:45 p.m. Friday in a 
Portsmouth hospital. A native of New York City, she was a daughter of George E. 
and Mrs. Annie Lockhart Coleman. She lived in Norfolk three years. She was the 
widow of Lawrence Mabie. She was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church.
She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Henry F. Schlosser of Norfolk and Mrs. W. 
W. Kasdorf of Saigon; a brother, George J. Coleman of Chicago; four 
grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
The Rosary will be recited at H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments Monday at 8 p.m. A 
funeral service will be held in Christ the King Catholic Church Tuesday at 11 
a.m. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
