Etheridge, Rowland Heights, on the Money Point Road. Mr. McGregor started to the basement to adjust the furnace fire and it is believed suffered an attack of vertigo, falling headlong down the steps, a distance of eight feet, landing on his head. Dr. F. D. Wilson, of South Norfolk was called in and after aid sent Mr. McGregor to the hospital. Mr. McGregor was in the best of health and on the day before attended the funeral of his fellow churchman, H.D. Wilcox, in Berkley. He was a member of Armstrong Memorial Presbyterian Church and was held in the highest esteem. He was a native of Scotland, but had spent most of his life in this country. His wife died about four years ago, and he is survived by the following children: Robert S. McGregor, Fundley, O.; Mrs. G.S. Wallace, Princess Anne County; Miss Elizabeth N. McGregor, of St. Paul, Minn.; and Mrs. F.T. Etheridge, of this section. The funeral arrangements will be announced later. ****************************************************************** McGREGOR -- At the Norfolk Protestant hospital, suddenly, Friday, April 7, 1916, at 12:30 o'clock p.m., ARCHIBALD McGREGOR, native of Scotland, aged 78 years. The funeral will be conducted at the funeral apartments of J.R. Williams, 208 Chestnut street, MONDAY AFTERNOON at 3 o'clock. Burial in Magnolia cemetery. Friends invited. Williams, 208 Chestnut street by Rev. A.W. Shaw, yesterday afternoon and was largely attended. Burial was in Magnolia cemetery and the pallbearers were: Luther Etheridge, A.I. Coston, J.W Blassingham, V. Engle, C.L. Williamson and Moses Merrick.
