Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Monday, July 8, 1996 
Dorothy D. Mack, 68, of the 2700 block of Liberia Drive, departed this life July
4, 1996 at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital.

A native of Norfolk, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence and Edith Mack.
She was a homemaker.

Survivors include her husband, Melvin Odom Sr.; two daughters-in-law, Sheree
Odom of Chesapeake and Dorothy J. Mack of Norfolk; five sons, James Mack,
Michael Odom, Vincent Odom and Richard Mack, all of Norfolk, and Joseph Odom of
Chesapeake; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a host of other
relatives and friends.

A funeral will be at noon Wednesday at Riddick Funeral Service. Burial will be
in Calvary Cemetery . Viewing will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral
home, where the family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m.
