Virginia-Pilot, February 8, 1910
Mrs. Emily MacKenzie, widow of John MacKenzie, died at 8:30 o'clock, last night i
in her residence at County Street and Virginia Avenue, at the age of 85 years.
She is survived by the following children: Mrs. M. G. Appelo, John, Catherine 
and Marion MacKenzie.
She had been in failing health for some time. Mrs. MacKenzie was a lady of 
numerous acquaintances, and was endeared to all who know her.
