MacKenzie, in the 50th year of hi his age. The funeral of Mr. Alexander K. MacKenzie took place from the Huntersville Methodist Church at 3:30 o'clock yesterday afternoon, Rev. H. C. Gregory, the pastor, officiated, assisted by Rev. S. C. Hatcher, of Queen Street Methodist Church. The Jackson Light Infantry, of which the deceased was a member, accompanied the remains to Elmwood Cemetery, where he was interred with military honors. The pall-bearers were Messrs. T. Nugent, Ed. Haynes, W. J. Hummer, R. E. Atkinson and four members of the Jackson Light Infantry.
