MACKENZIE, in the 50th year of his age. The funeral will take place from the Huntersville M.E. Church THIS (Wednesday) AFTERNOON at 3:30 o'clock. Friends of the family are invited to attend. ************************************************************************ The funeral of Mr. Alexander K. MacKenzie took place from the Huntersville Methodist Church at 3:30 o'clock yesterday afternoon. Rev. H.C. Gregory, the pastor, officiated, assisted by Rev. S.C. Hatcher, of Queen Street Methodist Church. The Jackson Light Infantry, of which the deceased was a member, accompanied the remains to Elmwood Cemetery, where he was interred with military honors. The pallbearers were Messrs. T. Nugent, Ed. Haynes, W.H. Hummer, R.E. Atkinson and four members of the Jackson Light Infantry. The floral designs were numerous and beautiful.
