Norfolk - Thomas Mackey of 2735 Myrtle avenue, one of this city’s best known
colored electrical contractors, died on May 11 after an illness of two weeks.

Funeral services were held at Bethel Baptist Church Saturday, May 15, with the
Rev. J. Q. A. Lassiter, pastor, officiating. The deceased is survived by his
widow, two daughters, one son, two brothers and five half-sisters.
