Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - December 23, 2009
NORFOLK - Virginia Mackey, 86, passed away quietly Dec. 17, 2009, at Sentara
Leigh Hospital. She was born Oct. 16, 1923, and was a devoted member of Antioch
Missionary Baptist Church, Norfolk.

She leaves to cherish her memory five children, John Q. Clark, Catherine Clark
Nelson, Donell Clark, Maurice L. Mackey, and Rohna V. Mackey; 10 grandchildren;
a sister; a brother; a host of other relatives and friends.

A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in Antioch Missionary Baptist Church,
525 Dinwiddie St. Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery, Norfolk. Viewing will
be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday in Metropolitan Funeral Service, Granby
Chapel. Condolences may be offered at www.metropolitanfuneralservice.com.
