The Virginian Pilot and Norfolk Landmark Wednesday January 8, 1930
Mrs. Evaline Dana MacKimmie - Word was received here yesterday of the death 
of Mrs. MacKimmie, aged 83, yesterday afternoon at 5:30 o'clock in the 
residence of her son, W.H. MacKimmie, at City Point.  Besides her son, she 
is survived by three granddaughters, Mrs. E.D. Elliott, of Boston; Mrs. 
Alexander, of City Point, and Mrs. Linwood Ford, of this city; a grandson, 
Dana J. MacKimmie, of Shenandoah, and four great grandchildren.  The body 
will be brought to the Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home Twenty-ninth and Granby 
streets, from whence funeral services will be held tomorrow at 2 p.m.  
Interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery.

Mrs. Evaline Dana MacKimmie - Funeral services for Mrs. MacKimmie were 
conducted at the Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Twenty-ninth and Granby 
streets, yesterday afternoon at 2 o'clock by Norman Z. Ball, reader of the 
Christian Science Church.  Pallbearers were R.D. Ames, J.F. Ford, H.M. 
Wilkerson, J.D. Bibb, J.J. Baecher and J.P. Poole.  Burial was in Elmwood 
Cemetery.
