Last rites for William Macklin of 1034 Galt street will be held at Queen Street 
Baptist Church, Friday, Jan. 24, at 2 p.m.  The pastor, the Rev. J. Jasper 
Freeman, will officiate.

Mr. Macklin died in a local hospital last Tuesday at 2:30 p.m.  A native of 
Warfield, VA, he had lived in Norfolk for 58 years.  He was the husband of the 
late Mrs. Emma Macklin.

Surviving Mr. Macklin are two sons, Clifford and Cornelius Macklin, the latter 
an airman presently stationed in California;  five daughters, Mrs. Eloise 
Stanford of Detroit, MI, Mrs. Dorothy Ware, Mrs. Thelma Bailey, Mrs. Lillian 
Tyson, and Miss Jean Macklin, and other relatives.

Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery with Graves Funeral Home in charge.

(NOTE:  death certificate states Morning Glory Funeral Home in charge of 
arrangements)
