Norfolk Virginian Pilot April 26, 1944

Norman Stuart MacLean, 77, son of the late Archibald and Mrs. Adelia Fernandez 
MacLean, a lifelong resident of Norfolk, died yesterday morning at 4:20 
o'clock at a local hospital.  Mr. MacLean was a brother of the late Capt. 
Donald MacLean of the Norfolk Police Department.  He is survived by a sister, 
Miss Ida MacLean, of Norfolk.  Services will be held at the chapel of the H.D. 
Oliver Funeral Apartments Thursday at 12 o'clock noon with the Rev. W.H.T. 
Squires, D.D., pastor of Ingleside Presbyterian Church, officiating.  
Interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
