Virginian Pilot December 2, 1910

Archibald MacLean, seventy-five years old, father of Police Warrant Officer 
Donald MacLean, died suddenly last night at the family residence No. 27 High 
street.  Mr. MacLean had been in bad health for sometime, but it was thought 
that he was improving from his affliction.  Death came about 10 o'clock last 
night.
The deceased leaves three sons and two daughters. He was born in Scotland 
and has resided in Norfolk for a number of years.
Funeral arrangements have not yet been made.

Archibald MacLean, of 27 High Street, died suddenly at his home early 
yesterday morning. He was in the 75th year of his age and was well known and 
highly esteemed in Norfolk. He is survived by the following children: Miss 
Flora F. MacLean, Miss Ida MacLean, Donald F. MacLean, Archie MacLean and 
Norman MacLean. The deceased was a member of the Second Presbyterian Church. 
Funeral arrangements have not been announced.

The funeral of Archibald MacLean, of 27 High street will be held from his 
late residence at 3 o'clock this afternoon, Rev. Dr. Whaling, of the Second 
Presbyterian Church, officiating.  Interment will be in Elmwood.
