Mr. Madden was well known in this community and his death is mourned by a large circle of friends. His funeral will take place from St. Mary's Catholic Church this morning at 10 o'clock, at which time and place friends and acquaintances are requested to attend. ************************************************************************ The funeral of the late James Madden took place from St. Mary’s Catholic Church yesterday morning at 10 o’clock, and was largely attended. The services were conducted by Rev. Father M. O’Keefe, who paid a beautiful tribute to the deceased. When the services at the church were concluded, the remains were carried to the Catholic Cemetery where they were interred. The pallbearers were: Messrs. Martin Cashin, Michael Cashin, Richard Fogarty, John Connolly, John Lester and J. H. Tierney.
