Virginian-Pilot  April 10, 1918
Miss Katherine T. Madden, a well-known resident of this city, died at her 
residence, 1208 DeBree avenue, yesterday afternoon at 4:40 o’clock, following an 
illness of several weeks. Miss Madden was the daughter of the late James and Ellen 
Madden and is survived by one sister, Miss Mary E. Madden, four brothers, Michael, 
James T., J. J. and F. V. Madden, all of this city. Funeral services will be held 
at Sacred Heart Catholic church tomorrow morning at 10 o’clock. Interment will be 
in St. Mary’s cemetery.
